This was a surprise because insurance in California is super high, so I never excepted to save this much! "This agency canceled my policy due to a clerical error ON THEIR END. They did not send the notice to my mailing address so I received the notice entirely too late. There were no attempts to email or call me to explain the issue they THOUGHT they were running into. Their Underwriting Department thought my license was surrendered, which it most assuredly was not. Had someone tried to contact me, I might have been able to assist, but they attempted to handle it themselves and I got the short end of the stick. I've been driving UNKNOWINGLY UNINSURED for a week before I received their letter. No one at the agency is apparently able to reinstate my original policy. The best they can do is draw up a new policy with higher rates. I have no idea how a company can make such a grave mistake in the customer service world and then tell you to pay more to fix it. Not only was I driving uninsured for a week, but what if I had gotten into an accident or pulled over? I'm going on a road trip this Saturday from to California- what if something had happened to my car on the road? I wouldn't have had any roadside assistance! I'm absolutely appalled that one- this even happened, two- being a smaller agency with a "personal touch" they NEVER called or sent an email (just sent a letter NOT to my mailing address which I stressed several times was different than my home address), and three- basically can't do anything to fix it other than write a new/more expensive policy. Definitely look elsewhere for coverage- the disorganization and failure to rectify their mistakes will cost you."

"Thankfully, I haven't had too many opportunities to deal with this agency...knock on wood. The few times that I have had to contact them for small items, such as broken windshields, they have always been very easy to work with. This last time, the woman who answered the phone suggested that I try using the app - as opposed to dealing with the claims department on the phone. The app was VERY easy to use and I had everything set up to go in just a few minutes. I highly recommend the app."

After more than 10 calls, many corrections, and more than two months, my insurance is (mostly) correct.... I would go elsewhere if you want a worry-free experience.
